Here are some pictures from our Colorado ski trip this past week.
It was snowballs of fun!! (hardy har har)
Look at that air!
After three days of skiing, we went shopping in Durango for the day.
I have now decided what kind of dog I want someday. A husky. This one was so sweet... I could have loved on him all day. Greg begs to differ though. He doesn't like any dog with long hair, and he insists that a husky won't fair well in Arkansas 100+ degree weather.
Does anyone know someone around here with a husky that can convince him otherwise??
This is Greg and me now.
This is us in the future.
Greg rocking out to the radio on the way home.
If you have ever heard the story about how we got stranded in a blizzard on Christmas Eve (only 9 days after we got married) in the middle of NO WHERE... well this is the spot. Maybe I'll take the time to blog about that someday for those of you that don't know the story. It is well worth the read.
And my new favorite picture from our way home. I actually took this through the truck window because it was too cold to roll down. And it hasn't been edited either. Straight out of the camera.
Boy, do I love my new camera.
Well that's the end of our Christmas Break pictures. I hope everyone had a great holiday season and made many new memories!
Great pictures! Our youth minister at church has a husky...sorry to say, he might agree with Greg. Chris wanted a husky for a while...we settled for pound puppies. Question - how do you make such cute headers??
ReplyDeleteAlaskan huskies are so cute but they do thrive in a more wintry environment and they need lots of room to run and roam. It looks like your trip to my home town was a good one. Have a very Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Hilborn was sooo excited! (and yes I still call her that. I can't break the habit even if she is my MIL!)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I hope Aaron never sees your today's post! He would go into immediate depression. Skiing is his favorite and all this snow Fayetteville is getting is really giving him the itch to get into the mountains! Looks like y'all had a blast!
Thanks for the info, Janice! Scrapblog worked like a charm!! :-)
