As I type this, I am sitting on the couch by my sick husband watching Ranger Baseball. Yes, it is that time of year again when evenings consist of me and Greg... C.J., Michael, Josh, David, Ian, and Nellie (who just hit a home-run). Oooh I'm getting excited about going to some games this summer.
The reason for this post though is not to talk about Ranger Baseball, but rather to brag a little on my oh-so-humble yet incredibly smart husband. Greg would never talk about this, so I thought I should let you all know that he won a big award on Monday night. All year he has been working on a 54 page paper to submit for publication in a law journal. All the articles were sent to the Arent Fox Law Firm in Washington DC for them to pick the best. And guess whose they chose?! That's right. My little Greggles is getting his article published in a national law journal. Not that I ever plan on taking the time to read it, but I'm still thrilled for him! I know how hard he worked on this article. He truly didn't expect it to be the one they chose to publish, so it was really exciting to hear his name called for the award Monday night. And now his classmates are calling him Ernest (as in Hemingway, ha. Tyler, that really makes me laugh!) I'm proud of you, Ernie!
Now I need to get back to our discussion on how Toronto is in the American League. Just when I thought I had MLB figured out...
